Too confused to know what to do
I just keep a distance from you
I glance at you and wonder what could be
If there ever could be a “You and Me”
There’s a possiblility but I still have doubt
You’ll probably turn me down if I ask you out
Even though your smile is so inviting
It sends my heart racing
You smile every time you see me
The kindest hello anyone could see
You seem shy but I could be mistaking
I wish it was a sure sign you were mine for the taking
If you ever read this would you know if it’s for you
Or would I even be able to tell you

You are barely but a piece of my day
I see you and never know what to say
I pass you by and just simply smile
