For Valentine's Day

Valentines day is a day to show you care
A day where love is in the air
Like every other day it comes and goes
Even filled with highs and lows
Not everyone may be in love to enjoy the holiday
The point isnt about how much you pay
Its about showing how you feel
Not forgeting about being real
Every year we rush around
Searching for the best gift to be found
During all this sometimes we lose sight
All along forgetting what is right
Yet seeing one smile from you, makes me remember

In the blink of an eye

I see you and the thoughts begin to fly
Like the finale on the 4th of July
Even through the melee
I still can get over your beauty
Through all this I wonder what you think
