Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving is approaching, and I'll be cooking again this year. If you dont have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving, you're welcome to come to the house for some great food. Check out the menu for the food we'll be having. All of which I'll be making homemade!

For Valentine's Day

Valentines day is a day to show you care
A day where love is in the air
Like every other day it comes and goes
Even filled with highs and lows
Not everyone may be in love to enjoy the holiday
The point isnt about how much you pay
Its about showing how you feel
Not forgeting about being real
Every year we rush around
Searching for the best gift to be found
During all this sometimes we lose sight
All along forgetting what is right
Yet seeing one smile from you, makes me remember

Morning Commute

Scents of newsprint and coffee fill the street
Horns and footsteps fuel the beat
The slush of the snow through the tires
As the beautiful white crystal expires
The gray of early morning snow fall
Makes me forget I exist at all
As the sights of lights and reflections
Tempt me to take alternate directions
I press on in the normal mode
Everything seems the same as I forebode
As I arrive at my destination
I unlayer without hesitation
As my wintery voyage has come to an end
Just to do this all over tomorrow, and again.
