I need filled with your goodness.
I need to feel your presence.
Lift me up beyond myself
with your loves incomparable wealth

Rid me of these briars of sin I run through

Status

this one had a little inspiration behind it. but i like it so far. i think i'll work on this to make it into a song...let me know what you think.




Sometimes I talk too much because I’m too afraid to listen
Shattered pieces of my heart always seem to glisten
Through this smile that’s all a front of a lesser disposition
Pull it all together and get back on this mission

Sometimes I care too much because I’m afraid of rejection
So I have realized that I’m in quite an odd position
I want to be with you but not to jeopardize our relation
What we have is good; it’s understood, no further iteration
Where to go from here is now the standing mystery

Haven't written a sonnet in quite some time. Thought I'd take a stab at one. let me know what you think:


I'm realizing I have nothing but time
to be me and pursue what I'm wanting
To convey it all to you in this rhyme
a task to me, that is a bit daunting

I have found things in you that are so true
beauty for one, I can so plainly see
a personality that is so you
a smile so warm no one else's will do

I so don't know what to do to get her
her laugh echos in my head all day long
to the point i wish we were together
is this all selfish or is it just wrong

the more I think about it I lose steam
then I suppose this is all just a dream

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving is approaching, and I'll be cooking again this year. If you dont have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving, you're welcome to come to the house for some great food. Check out the menu for the food we'll be having. All of which I'll be making homemade!
